The questions underneath the product.
Individual cognitive modeling is an open research problem. This is where we set out what we are trying to solve, what we read, and what we are still unwilling to claim.
- Cognitive models
How much of an individual way of thinking can be represented responsibly, and what has to be collected deliberately rather than inferred.
- Provenance
What it takes for a family to trace any answer back to the recording, letter or document behind it.
- Fidelity
How closely a Cognitive Model can reproduce recurring patterns in the judgments and responses of the individual it represents.
- Ethics
Where the line sits between presence and deception once a generated voice becomes convincing.
We are developing a rigorous methodology for Cognitive Model Fidelity. We do not publish accuracy figures we cannot defend, and nothing shown on this site is a validated accuracy claim.
Published work we read, argue with and build against. Peer reviewed venue where applicable.
